Guest Speakers: Ms. Brownell will let you know after a presentation IF a thank you letter is appropriate; you must type an error free thank you letter that is a minimum of 20 sentences (what you learned, what you felt, etc), 1% per letter/organization, must have your full name & Pierce College on it somewhere.

Please TYPE up and bring a name card to all classes-on it please put your first name in very large font and if you would like your gender pronoun. The name card needs to stand-up by itself. You will receive points/credits for this.

The spring 2020 PC overview is a general idea of what we will be doing on each day and is mostly for me, but there if you want it :)

3.18 Suicide Training 3% extra credit opportunity:
Go to http://kognito.com/ccc and register (make an account-make sure you put in your email correctly as that is where they send the certificate you will need), complete the pre-survey (takes about 5 mins), complete the "suicide" lesson (takes about 1/2 hour), complete the post survey (takes about 5 mins), print your certificate and turn into me. 3% extra credit
3.25 Guest Speaker: speaking on sexual assault
1% extra credit opportunity: If you were in class 3.25 and heard the guest speaker, type up a 20+ sentence thank you letter to her. Please be sure to include your name and period #. Be sure to include what you liked, what you learned, how you can use this information in the future. It must be error free as I am going to send them!
MAYBE Extra Credit: Watch the 5 videos below and write a 3-5 sentence summary of what you saw (the plot/story-line for lack of a better word) as well as a 5+ sentence reaction (your opinion, your thoughts) for each clip/video. It must be typed and include your name and period # :) This is worth up to 3% extra credit.

Reminder: This is a friendly reminder; you should be working on your assigned presentation topic, your community service project (be sure to get approval prior to volunteering) as well as your out-of-classroom experience project. Should you have extra time, I suggest doing one or more of the extra credit assignments :)
Reminder: I encourage you to turn in all work/projects/extra credit/everything as soon as possible. You can still turn in work on 6.3, but many of you would like to review your grade sheet & I can only provide you with a grade sheet for what you have turned in...in other words, turn everything in and I can let you know where you really stand prior to taking the final exam...turn stuff in on 6.3 and you will know when you check your online, final grade.
